Darryl Harrison began his career with the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department in 1993 as a part time / temporary Juvenile Detention Officer. Since that time, Mr. Harrison has held several line level and management positions throughout the Department. Mr. Harrison is currently a Deputy Chief with oversight of Detention Services, Residential Services, Building Security and Facilities Operations. Darryl Harrison holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Corrections, Master’s Degree in Public Administration and several certifications in Human Resources, Adult Training, Mediation and Group Facilitation.
