The TJDA asks that you keep Officer Christy Galindo in your thoughts and prayers as she recovers from this violent attack by juvenile offenders. This incident highlights the many dangers that Juvenile Supervision Officers face on a daily basis throughout the state from increasingly violent juvenile offenders. While our goal is to keep the juveniles and the public safe, we must keep in mind that these incidents are possible and staff safety is also a priority.
